Ever notice that every time you think you are going to be able to get it together and buy a few pieces of clothing that some other bullshit keeps you out of the clothing store?

I need clothing! and yet, bill collectors are giving me a migraine. Let them suck lemons! Here is some info on the pieces I am interested in getting. These are the actual Ebay Listings

Finding a white dress/gown is very hard. She has some and the one above is the best for This Snow Queen.

The money that is left goes for discretionary spending and food! I don't want to starve! I need to come up with $100 or so from somewhere.

I welcome your comments. I think I may have to take some of it out of my home phone bill/Cellphone bill. On the listing they are merged. but they are separate. The cell phone was already behind and that made that column huge. Here is the actually payment amounts for each.

Thats $176.36 for the home phone. No contract. 3 phone lines plus my DSL, in addition to my $49/month AT&T Unlimited U.S national calling (think of it as WATS lines, baby!) I can yak with anyone for free! Only, I don't yak much as this nearly deaf woman hardly talks on the phone. I don't know who to TDD so... Maybe, its time to change things here.

$218,68 for my Iphone 3gs with AT&T. one month in arrears with a 250MB/month data plan. and 350 minutes/month yak plan with rollover. My two year contract expires on June of 2013 (ugh!). Normal bill is around $90/month.

Should I wait until February to buy clothing and pay the budget as it is written? That may suck but... there won't be a penalty of nasty bills if I did that.

BTW... the Shoutcast stream is offline as I had to use that computer for something else. I have not yet found a computer that can be delegated to that mundane task of encoding a live stream and hosting it.j I don't think an old Pentium 200mmx can do it without hassle or can it? Does anyone know if it can handle 10 streams of 32kb/s mono? What? you thought Pinkrose was STEREO? I run a live AM radio station that doesn't have a QUAM AM stereo transmitter!

Pinkrose Radio is now on the web! you can find the stream on shoutcast.com or... you can enter the direct links, seems the shoutcast server is not working as it should. Heres some of the links you may want to know of

just enter it in to your browser and give it a listen. This site is on the shoutcast directory but.. sometimes it crashes and has to be relisted, in part due to AT&T's DSL configuration.

My weight is dropping. Thats the good news. The bad news is that I am suffering my usual Seasonal Affective Depression Disorder (SADD) that is bad as I have to deal with Spring, Summer and Autumn. As you can guess, as we get closer to winter, I perk up and get more active.

Local climate is trying to, as Juice Newton would sing "Break it to me gently" I haven't had a major heat emergency that sent me to the hospital yet. I don't know how long that will be before I am in the E.R for heat stroke/Stress/Exhaustion. Anything above 25C is Dangerous to my healt as I have no natural means to rid he excess heat. I lost that ability over 10 years ago. My body is designed for temperatures from -37C to 25C. I just wish it would never get close to that high of 25C this summer.

I need to invest in a new high Capacity Air Conditioner. Something that would be ideal to cook a walk in freezer would be fantastic. Set the termostat to 5C and relax! ;)

You saw the picture of the wiring of the amp I want to recreate and shook your head with bewilderment right?

Well, it isn't that far fetched to build this simple (it just looks complex as the way it is laid out.) tube intergrated amplifier.

I am still planning to begin the project sometime... yeah, when? I don't really know! Maybe next Winter :( I am working Diligently to get rid of my own budget deficits, Unlike the U.S government, I cannot afford to live on loans. When all the credit cards are paid off, I will have about $200 per month extra that can be used for this project.

I am still bummed out that Winter is almost over. I got Fat. REAL FAT! and now am struggling to lose it all. I even moved my doctors appointment to two months later so I can work on my weight loss and come up with the $50 Co-Pay. No more Ice cream, doritos or Doughnuts until I can lose at least 30kg!

I am going to miss winter. It is MY SEASON. and it has always been my most loved and cherished time of year. My favorite holidays are during this time: Yule, Christmas, New Years.. My birthday (its a holiday to me ;)) St. Valentines Day.

I got so depressed that I hit the Ice cream, REALLY HARD 1.4 Liters almost every night for a week! Tons of my favorite Cabot Extra Sharp Chedder Cheese... Oh..... Yum! Now I have almost outgrown my clothing... that creates more depression. Not exactly a healthy cycle of events. Finally Lumi and I decided it was time to break that vicious cycle! Lumi is my other half. She is my Twin Soul that shares this body with me. Its a lovely and beautiful thing to share your body with your true twin soul. Like the Travelocity commercial say. "You Never Room Alone."

You never sleep alone either! I may be a Lesbian. but with Lumi, we got lots of good snuggling in. She tries not to get me too upset. Trust me, Its bad enough if you can walk away from a argument with another. but when the other shares your body... You can't walk away ;p You need to settle it with finesse and respect for both parties.

I am looking forward to next winter, I just wish Summer wasn't in there. I hate the heat, humidity and the bugs. The mosquitos love Snow Queen Flesh. Being a OC2 Albino... I burn to a crisp in the sun! I try to sleep in the day to avoid the sun and the heat. My Electric bill for my mediocre Air conditioner is nasty. it costs over $50 to run this ancient dinosaur. Because I am heat Intolerant.. I have to be in a cold environment to avoid heat stroke. Several times I had to sleep in my bathtub to remain cool. I don't have a pool and even if I had.. I cannot tolerate the sun as my skin is super fair.

Something interesting, and quite good may be me working at Cable 13 Access channel in Winsted, Working on audio and Video editing. It would be in the evenings. I look forward to this volunteer challenge as I do like working with Audio. Not so much video but... I do know how to do that. I will let you know how that goes.

Just one of those mixed bag days when you are unsure if you want to do anything or not. It is raining and it feels like crap. I rather have snow! with a light wind on the side than cold clammy rain.

Sure! I could change the weather so it was snow. However, I already put the snow to bed for New England as we need to thaw out. There is still tons (Litterally) of snow still outside. The Sidewalks in Winsted are almost clear of snow and ice.

This year, I haven't fallen flat on my ass. Something I tend to do every winter, at least once. I slipped a few times but recovered fairly gracefully.

In Ballad Of The Snow Teen Lucia and Michele are at Scott-Amundsen South pole base in Antarctica. Things in the story are heating up. (REally? at -65C? more like freezing down!) as Michele has plans to restore the old dome base. Lucia is wondering what she is up to.

Ah! This Michele is wondering where it is all going as there seems to be an unknown entity messing up the weather in the southern hemisphere. Is this entity Malevolent or just someone having some fun at humankind's expense? We will have to see what happens.

I am finally using a newer Emac that has the balls to run flash better so now I can use the fancier editor (Da! some big deal Da? I think the older html worked just as well for me.)
I am an albino.. Oh, you didn't know? You do now ;)

I also am now The North American Snow Queen for U.S and Canada. Wonder why you froze this year? Yeah... that was my doing. My season is done on March 20th 2011 (Ostara which is often known as the beginning of spring. Bummer! I am having a blast ;) During the last few weeks I am doing a slow thaw as we got so much snow that a fast thaw would create flooding.

When I originaly created this blog it was sorta one of those extra blogs that I started but never maintained. Since my old harpy's desk newsletter blog is history... might as well use this one since I already am configured.

I also run my own AM radio station in Winsted, AM 1610 called Pinkrose Radio. It is a part 15 station with very limited coverage. Reviewing the FCC rules... I may be able to slip in a few watts instead of the measly .10 watt power that is official for Part 15 transmitters. Seems that the regs specify Part 15 AM rules at .10 watt and commercial licensing starting at 250watts. What about 10 watts? 20 watts? 100 watts? Ahem. lets not get ahead of ourselves here. $500 for a 20 watt transmitter is possible. but $2000 for a 200watt beast is pushing my luck! You know darn well that the bean counters of the FCC would take notice if they saw 200 watts sizzling out of my 3meter wire! I don't have the deep pockets for attorneys on retainer to fight them.

Finally! We get rid of the wysyg editor (at least I think I did).

the fancy editor was creating all kinds of problems with Mozilla on the Mac under Mac Os 9.2.2. Now posts will use standard HTML entry. For me that is a Godsend!

For those of you who haven't checked out From the Harpy's Desk, my other blog. I recomend you give it a look. maintaining two blogs is a Royal Pain in the Ass! Somehow I would like to combine both into one blog. any suggestions on how I can do that?

for those who wondered where I was all of this time. I was working on another blog site on http://pinkrose.dhis.org I was having problems with blogger.com as mozilla on the mac was acting flaky. Internet exploiter was working OK but I use Mozilla for allmost all of my work. You can find my "From the Harpy's nest newsletter" here.

While I am unsure if this works now under Mozilla under Mac Os 9.2.2 or not, you can be rest assured that you will be able to read of my feelings on the sites I mentioned already. You may also post comments on Planet Maca's Opus as well as here.

HI! just letting anyone who is reading this know that I am working on getting Maca's world up for download or at least put a link to whee you can download it. Seems that Mozilla 1.2.1 on the Mac does not like this site where as links under Linux (its a text only browser) seems to work fine.
