After I did this video, the tech came and confirmed that the problem was a FUBAR (broken) DSL modem (it seems to be common with that model).

So, if you have a Motorola NGV510 and it has gone on strike, you can get a replacement if it is confirmed to be broken.

FUBAR is a slang term from the computer age of MIT hackers (the good kind, not CRACKER) it means
F***cked UP Beyond Any Repair or F$$$cked Up Beyond any Recogition.

a Car that is Crushed to a thin chip is FUBAR as is a device whos flash has rendered to unusable.


In this video I also show a few other items including MY ADSL modem collection, my new little digital thermometers, and the big ZOOM lens (I will demo it when I get the infrared blocking filters from China).

Originally I was going to upload this via T-Mobile tethering but I decided to wait until the DSL was working again.
