People with Disabilities and how the death of the PC will hurt
We hear how the PC/Desktop is going by the wayside, but. If you are disabled, the death of the desktop platform could spell trouble for you! Very few Legally blind/blind users can use netbooks/tablets or even laptops! Being legally blind, I speak from experience
Much of the adaptive equipment also has not been ported to non-desktop platforms.
I talk about my own experiences as I explain the problems I face with the new hardware.
With the support of Windows XP ending next year, Many Disabled will again find themselves out in the cold as their adaptive technology may not have the new drivers for anything newer than Windows XP!
